Google Earth: A Virtual Tour Through Cow Creek's Location and History
Today you will go on a virtual tour from your seat here in the library to the hometown of the Cow Creek Tribe of Roseburg Oregon. You will voyage over to Crater Lake which is how far East the tribes land spreads, following the Great Crater Lake you will head down to Grants Pass Oregon which is the southern parameter of the land. Up to Cottage Grove you will find the Northern tips of the tribes land which is very close to Eugene and then west to Coos River which is how far west the cow creek tribe people reside. After seeing the amount of land the tribe now has, which is something they value very much due to how hard they worked for it you will see the Casino they have put a lot of time and energy into. It is one of the ways they make money minus the food business they have. After you have seen the Casino you will head back to Eugene where you will finish class! Have Fun!
